Talk:ITV fined A$3000 for cruelty to rat on "I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!"

The article currently doesn't discuss why this was an offence. The actual act of killing a rat humanely is AFAIK perfectly legal; it took the rat some time to die, and the suffering was during this time. I haven't looked at those sources; is it in them?
